I couldn't have picked a better time to read Illusions. My life at the time seemed like a series of events which led to hopelessness and frustration. I felt like I was a victim and there was nothing I could do about it.
However, after reading Richard Bach's Illusions, I came to the realization that you are in charge of your own happiness. You can do whatever you want in life and if somebody tries to take that away from you, you are better off without them.
Illusions reminded me of what I was born knowing, that we are free.

There is a power in this book like no other. You cannot read this book and be unaffected.
It's simple, unpretentious and will appeal to any age. The message of spirit and life in a plain brown wrapper. No mystery, but truth that will give a voice to your spirit.

This book, "Illusions", is powerful!! Twenty-five years ago it changed my life in ways I did not expect!! To have complete and full control of your own mind, your thoughts, your actions, your choices, and your reality is most powerful. Upon completing this book, I was compelled to make attempts to change my life, my existence, that really demonstrated the power of the mind when your beliefs about reality are expanded. Since reading, rather experiencing this book, I have made attempts to control my thoughts, actions, choices and existence. It's easier said than done for a person with attention deficit hyper-activity disorder, such as myself. Nonetheless, since reading this book, I am more willing to take responsibility for creating my on existence. I'm willing to recognize the limitations I may place on myself and my life and I regularly make the effort to step out of my comfort zone and live my life more fully.
